This involved the analysis of dfferent possible divisions of different possible tasks of labour into specialized tasks. The optimization of the tools and machines, and the optimization of the physical movements, required to operate them, assuming workers well suited to the specified tasks concern. The optimized system would then be condified so as to become a standard requirement to be implemented with absolute regularity, so that the whole workplace operated as a machine. Workers would be selected with the skills and strengths to perform each specialised task, and trained to follow the standard procesures. They would be fairly paid for what was scientifically established to be a reasonable level of peformance ( assuming they were well pay introdiced, to encourge over- performance and punish (underperformance). Both owners or employee would benefits.It indicated conclusion was that output was determined less by working conditions or incentive systems than by the informed social pattern of the work group. Feeling mattered and wherever managers took a personal interest in the workers, made them feel important and generated mutually supportive and cooperative environment, output are enhanced management. It seems was not about mechancial optimization processes, but about leadership and team dynamics.
