About the Author

Cesar Pelli, FAIA, founded the firm in 1977, the year he became dean of the Yale University School of Architecture. He has designed buildings around the globe, and his work won numerous awards internationally. In 1995, the American Institute of Architects bestowed upon Pelli the AIA Gold Medal the Institute's highest honor.
