About the Author

Edwin Lefevre (1871-1943), was a South American born-American writer, novelist, journalist and ambassador known for his writings on the Wall Street business world. Emigrating to the U.S. as a young child, Lefevre studied to become a mining engineer. As a teenager, he began a career as a journalist and also worked as a stockbroker, investor and a financial writer for the New York Sun. H
