Aaron McAlexander retired from teaching physics and astronomy several years ago so that he could spend more time in the land where he grew up, the mountains of Southwestern Virginia. Collections of short stories he has written about the people of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia are: The Last One Leaving Mayberry, So Much to Learn, This Old Store, and his most recent book, Greasy Bend.
