Derek Minty was born and lived most of his life in a small tourist town beside Riding Mountain National Park. He lives on a farm of ninety-three acres experimenting with wind and solar energy. While working on these projects he was inspired to go back to writing as he did in his teenage years. Derek is currently single and loves traveling. This is his first book with hopes of many more to come.
