Dora Rodriguez
Dora Rodriguez is a Salvadoran-born activist whose journey fleeing El Salvador's civil war in 1980 shaped her life's work. Her story became a catalyst for the Sanctuary City movement in Tucson, Arizona. Through public speaking and advocacy, Dora educates communities about the dangers migrants face in the desert and inspires change in the fight against injustice. Dora is the Founder and Director of Salvavision, a nonprofit that offers aid and support to migrants. She also founded Resiliencia Publishing, a justice-driven imprint dedicated to amplifying the voices of migrants, survivors, and organizers.
