Hunter Liguore

HUNTER LIGUORE (she/her) is an award-winning writer, professor, and historian, with a lifelong study in philosophy, specializing in the work of Sun Tzu. She's won numerous awards and published widely, including her daring social screenplay, Everylife, a 19-time international festival/contest winner in 2019/2020, which portrays many of Sun Tzu's principles. Her meditation essay, Equanimity, was part of the 'Anthems' podcast series produced by London director Hana Walker-Brown, in partnership with Sony Entertainment, May 2020. Liguore's writing has appeared in Spirituality & Health Magazine, Mindfulness Bell, Religion Unplugged, Anthropology & Humanism, Orion, and more. Her novel, L'ultimo Polare, has been translated in Italy by Virgi Books, 2018; her loving-kindness children's novel, The Whole World Inside Nan's Soup, is forthcoming from Yee Hoo Press, illustrated by award-winning artist Vikki Zhang. In June 2020, she was awarded the CT Artists Respond Grant, for her project, "Words Melt Away."
