Kevin Ashton is a visionary technologist and author. He coined the term "the Internet of Things," and co-founded and led the Auto-ID Center at MIT. His first book, How to Fly a Horse: The Secret History of Creation, Invention, and Discovery, was named Porchlight's "Business Book of the Year." He lives in Austin, Texas.
