Ralph Galeano

Ralph Galeano spent 25 years in Alaska. He lived and worked as a commercial fisherman for most of those years. He has logged over 500 hours flying over Alaska and Canada in his Piper Super Cub bush plane. He has a Coast Guard 100 ton Merchant Marine Officer's License and a FAA Commercial Pilot's License with a Sea Plane rating. He presently lives in Florida where he breeds and trains reined cow horses. He has won many championships and one National championship on horses he has bred and trained. He began writing while he and his wife, Sandy, were ranching in Montana before moving back to Florida. He has written several novels about horses and is a columnist for livestock publications nationwide. He is an active member of Western Writers of America and has received Wyoming Writers Milestone Award. Alaska Challenge is his first book about his days on the stormy Alaskan seas.
