Ulla Jordan comes from a Finnish-Canadian background and was raised on tales of the Finnish Winter War, which she has also researched extensively. As a child, she wrote stories to amuse her friends. These days, writing is a vital aspect of her life and a way to connect with the world and keep her family's stories alive. She lives with her husband on the spectacularly beautiful coast of Vancouver Island.
