Alan Drummond Reid

Alan Drummond Reid is a writer, musician, consultant and retired lawyer, currently residing east of Ottawa, Canada. Educated at Mount Allison University, the University of New Brunswick and Yale Law School, his career path has encompassed roles as law professor, legislative draftsman, legal writer, law reformer, constitutional advisor and litigator, partner of a major Canadian law firm, general counsel of a leading Canadian charitable organization, mediator and arbitrator. He is also the author of Seeing Law Differently - Views from a Spiritual Path (Borderland, 1992). His recent retirement from the law has afforded him the luxury to change focus, to see life differently, and to write freely in a new literary medium.
