Brendon Shipston

Brendon Shipston is a Canadian poet, essayist, short story writer, and political activist from Thunder Bay, Ontario. He first began to write poetry as a teenager after being inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe and D.H. Lawrence. In 2017, he was a regional award winner of the OSSTF/FEESO Student Achievement awards in the category of Prose & poetry for his poem Coveting Bren, and later graduated from Hammarskjold High School in June of the same year. When he is not writing, he is likely reading, meditating, studying, or walking recreationally. Revolutionary Pacifism is his first book.
