James Brady
James Brady is a former National Chief Ranger for the National Park Service. He retired after 38 years in the National Park Service, as Superintendent of Glacier Bay NP in Alaska in 1998. Highlights of his career include: Seasonal Ranger; Crater Lake & Yellowstone 1961-1962 Park Ranger, Petrified Forest National Park and Lake Mead Na-tional Recreation Area 1962-1967 Valley District Ranger, Yosemite 1972-1976 Instructor/Director of the Albright Training Center 1976-1981 Regional Chief Ranger, North Atlantic Region 1981-1983 Deputy Superintendent, Zion and Grand Teton 1983-1989 National Chief Ranger, Washington, DC 1991-1995 Developed training/management programs for national parks in Canada, Australia, Egypt and Turkey Trained 1,000 employees in the Texas State Park System.
