About the Author: Kristie Sokolsky is the mother of six children who spent the majority of her career in corporate America before she decided to pursue her dream of being a photographer. Eight months later her life was thrown into turmoil when her husband walked out after 18 years. Writing Simple Truths became her therapy, her way to find herself again and ultimately love who she is. Today, Kristie enjoys spending time with the last few teenagers she has living at home, helping her adult children succeed, and spoiling her grandchild. She also continues to write and shoot photography as much as her busy life allows.
