Lucy Hornby reported from China for the Financial Times and for Reuters, visiting every province and region. She has won awards for her coverage of human rights, as well as for her investigations into the financing and ownership of some of China's largest corporations. She has been a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, and a visiting scholar at Harvard's Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies. A graduate of Princeton University, she first arrived in China in 1995 to teach English in Wuhan.
