In survival mode since birth, Annie can't seem to catch a break!

Despite the emptiness of a traumatic childhood, she is determined to end the cycle of abandonment plaguing her existence. While navigating her mother's substance abuse and fragments of trauma in her past, Annie must survive to rescue her sister from the same torture and break those generational chains.

But how can she help her sister with their narcissistic foster parents in the way? What is she supposed to do when that cycle of addiction rears its ugly head again? With her sister in and out of prison, it all seems hopeless!

Until Annie discovers one person on whom she can truly rely. Will she be able to cling to that hope in the deepest of valleys? Or will something or someone always stand in her way? She can't lose her sister to the same brokenness she's endured.
