Sanja Tesic, a child refugee, who says: "The war didn't kill me, it made me stronger", takes the reader through her life journey of being surrounded by the gun fire to immigrating to a country in which she could not speak nor understand the language.

Despite her hardship, Sanja's victor attitude takes her through the other side to happiness. Happiness which she creates for herself through a positive mindset, belief and gratitude.
