Tony Stacy, a native of South Central Los Angeles all his life, was once an influential fierce gang member, leader, and shot-caller for the "Cribs" to "Crip" gang. He once faced the "death penalty," but instead, miraculously, escaped with his life after doing 33years straight, under a "life without" the possibility of parole sentence.

Though this book was written practically 16 years ago and is just now being released, the contents are still as relevant today. The same gang cancer continues to plague the Black community and affect lives in too many adverse ways.

This book is predicated on an exposition by an ex-gang member who spoke about how he made his entrance and exit out of the gang life. He does not glorify gang culture, but he shines a light on all of the misery, hardships and pitfalls that inevitably come with this lifestyle. This message is essentially to send out a stern warning and wake-up call to the youths not to follow his same destructive path and footsteps to nowhere but to the prison, the graveyard, or even death row...
