About Emma Goude
Emma Goude is an international award-winning documentary filmmaker who started out at the BBC. Having had six psychiatric admissions, one of them under a sectioning, she has written My Beautiful Psychosis to change the perception of psychosis as a devastating and stigmatizing illness. She hopes that sharing her story will inspire others, improve attitudes, and ultimately contribute to a better system of care. She is currently living in Buenos Aires, where she is following her passion for dancing tango.
