About Mark A Weber

Mark Weber leads the Wealth Transfer department of SilverStone Group, a full-service resource management firm that provides employee benefit, actuarial and human resource consulting as well as insurance brokerage services. For nearly 30 years he has advised some of the wealthiest families in America in both personal financial and estate planning. He also leads the Charitable Advisor In Philanthropy Study Group-a group he founded in 2012 with the support of the Omaha Community Foundation. In just five years, Mark has guided nearly 70 professionals in the Omaha area (attorneys, accountants, financial planners, wealth managers and planned giving officers) through the graduate level course work necessary to attain the CAP designation. In 2017, these advisors reported that, since completing the CAP program, they have worked with their clients to commit (cumulatively) a staggering $1.4 billion to charitable causes. With Mark's leadership, the graduates of the Omaha CAP Study Group Program are helping their clients leave legacies that will impact their communities for years to come. Mark holds bachelor and law degrees from Creighton University and a master's of science in financial services degree from The American College of Financial Services. In creating their own legacy, Mark and his wife, Tricia, have implemented all of the strategies recommended in The Legacy Spectrum. They are constantly tweaking, tinkering and testing to find the ones that work best for their growing family.
