Our General Manager Sally Haldorson talks with Christopher Lochhead about the power of business books, and how "our company is the reverse of an algorithm."

Our General Manager Sally Haldorson was recently invited onto Christopher Lochhead's Legends and Losers podcast to talk about the power of business books to help people build a better, more integrated, and yes, legendary, life.

Christopher is co-author of Play Bigger: How Pirates, Dreamers, and Innovators Create and Dominate Markets, which we named one of the best leadership and strategy books of 2016. He is also something of a pirate and dreamer in his own right, definitely an innovator, and one of the nicest guys in the business.

As you can tell from the picture below, they had a lot of fun. The conversation ranged from business book trends over the past 30-40 years to Milwaukee's current maker culture, from the history of our company to the Kardashianism of our modern life, and closes with Sally's convincing argument that business books directly contribute to making the workplace and the lives of "the people who do the work" better.

If you'd like to listen to it on the go, you can find it on iTunes.
