"This is how the judgment works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light because their deeds are evil" (John 3:19, GNT). Innocent souls are crying out for impartial minds to come into the mission field and speak through the darkness about drugs, anger, selfishness, jealousy, and the like.
When we look around and see our leaders taking part in all manner of sin, we can become discouraged because we know they are building temples for the ungodly. We have it on good authority that some leaders (overseers, elders, politicians) are not above reproach. They are violent, quarrelsome, and lovers of money.
Come, join the army that is rising to fight the darkness. Join us, and "no weapon forged against you will prevail" (Is. 54:17, NIV). We must use the freedom in Christ to leave the darkness and embrace the Way and the Truth. "Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children" (Eph. 5:1, NLT). "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you" (Eph. 4:32, NASB).
