About the Author

Born in 1951, Frances grew up in Birmingham, Michigan, the fourth of six children. She joined the National Touring Company of Charles Gordone's Pulitzer Prize winning play, No Place to be Somebody, cutting short her second year at Wayne State University. The dream of becoming a film actress fueled her through four challenging years in New York City and another ten in L.
